These pieces examine how the intersection of self, and place (environment) create a story that then becomes a life. Seen through the eyes on childhood and the child’s inherent connection to nature, animals and the spirit realms.
Imagination and magic play an integral role in shaping a person's lived reality. This series invites the viewer to remember their own childhood and how deeply they felt their environment and the stories they were exposed to. These pieces are meant to take us back, into the deepest reaches of our early minds, where we first learned what it meant to think, to feel and to have a body that interacts with the environment and how our spirits develops within that relationship.
